Uncork French Elegance
An even better vintage of our members’ favorite Champagne house
2016 M. Brugnon Millesime Brut Champagne
Brugnon's Millésime bears a rating that puts it alongside top bottles from Billecart-Salmon, Bollinger, and Krug. As one pleasantly stunned fan wrote: “This was my ‘Wine Find’ of 2022! Normally, I drink Krug NV or some Tête de Cuvée. Everytime I taste a friend on this wine they love it! It is every bit as good.”
An old-vine marvel of northern white Burgundy
2022 Dampt Freres Eric Ora & Labora Reserve du Domaine Chablis
Vignobles Dampt Frères tends vines in some of the region’s best Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards, and their wines are poured at fine-dining hotspots like the two-MICHELIN-starred Saison. The 45- to 75-year-old vines behind this crystalline, beautifully opulent reserve cuvée pushed out just enough grapes to satisfy a few close friends and neighbors—but we talked the winery into letting us take a few cases home for members under their new Ora & Labora label.
Stunning value from the family behind First Growth Haut-Brion in a legendary year
2022 Domaine Clarence Dillon Clarendelle Saint-Emilion
The Domaine Clarence Dillon Clarendelle Saint-Émilion is made with the same attention to detail and care as the Dillons’ two most prized wines: First Growth Château Haut-Brion ($800+) and its neighbor Château La Mission Haut-Brion ($400+), two of the most coveted wines in the world. It’s rare to see a Bordeaux blue-blood family produce a true-blue value, much less put their name on it, but the Dillons go a step further. Clarendelle’s front label proudly proclaims the bottle is “Inspiré par Haut-Brion.”
An icon’s must-have Southern Rhône blockbuster
2022 Saint Cosme Châteauneuf du Pape Rhone Valley
From legendary winemaker Louis Barruol, this is without question one of the must-have bottles from the Southern Rhône. Barruol only makes a few hundred cases of this bottling, which comes from the appellation’s best climats, including the legendary, galet-strewn La Crau. Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s top terroirs delivered big-time power and concentration in 2022, and this gorgeous wine stands with triple-digit-priced stars that cost multiples more.
