When Jean-Claude Bougrier created this label in 1985 to honor his late friend Alain de la Treille, he couldn't have imagined the legacy that would follow. Now under the watchful eye of sixth-generation winemaker Lionel Métaireau, the estate has become a beacon of excellence in the area, their commitment to quality evident in their meticulous approach to viticulture and winemaking. 

The modern winery is equipped with thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, which allows for precise temperature control during fermentation. This preserves Vouvray’s delicate aromatics, en route to aging in a mixture of stainless steel tanks and larger oak barrels. The result is a showcase of Chenin’s charms, ever so gently mellowed and accented by oak. A perfect anytime, do-it-all white.
