The first vintage of Pas de Cheval was released to daunting expectations—and exceeded them all. It became one of the highest-rated Napa Valley Cabernet debuts of all time, with the wines landing on the lists at renowned MICHELIN three-star restaurants like The French Laundry and Jean-Georges.
Those wines now stand among the finest in the world, and we’re thrilled to offer the magnificent 2021 vintage.
These are wines of impeccable pedigree. Crafted by Screaming Eagle alum and Atelier Melka Director of Winemaking Maayan Koschitzky in what he calls a “collector’s vintage,” they hail from three of the most famed and celebrated vineyards in Napa Valley.
This is bold, but we think the 2021s surpass the first vintage. Deeply colored, intensely flavored, showing velvety texture and a gorgeous stout structure, the Prelude (Oakville), Intermezzo (St. Helena), and Finale (Howell Mountain) Cabernets are absolutely stunning now and will age for decades and decades.
