On the palate, black fruit flavors of plum, currant and cherry are expertly interwoven with savory notes of dried herbs, coffee bean and graphite. While the fruit is ripe, there is a wonderful tension and counter balance of minerality, acidity and tannin structure to this Alexander Valley Cabernet. A glass on its own would be delicious, yet the wine would shine even brighter with a perfectly seared New York strip steak.
