No doubt about it, this is a hodgepodge of a wine – but that turned out to be a very, very good thing. We had a bunch of small-lot, estate-grown wine samples sitting in front of us, and no matter how many times we sniffed, tasted, discussed and debated the merits of each one, we realized we were just filling time and space. So we blended several of the samples together and...bingo. We had the perfect, juicy, jammy silky red right for any occasion. Have a couple empty hours to fill? Do so in an incredibly enjoyable manner with this veratile, delicious red.
