2011 San Silvestro Brumo Nebbiolo D'Alba

This is about as straightforward and enjoyable as a Nebbiolo gets. The aromas are a bit jammy, with underlying hints of anise, tar and spice. On the palate you'll experience nice, primary, red fruit flavors, with subtle notes of licorice and spice notes. This is a juicy, approachable wine with soft tannins, making it as delicious as it is versatile.
