Story
Only 840 cases were made of this exquisite blend, which originated in some of Napa Valley’s most highly regarded locales. Places like the celebrated Stagecoach Vineyard on Atlas Peak and the Georges III Vineyard in Rutherford supplied Cabernet Sauvignon, while spots like the cool Hudson Vineyard in Carneros offered Syrah. “This blend represents the best of the valley floor and hillsides, and it is as much a blend of terroirs as it is a blend of varietals,” says winemaker Kirk Venge, whose skill is a prime asset of B Cellars. The artisan winery owned by two passionate wine collectors– turned–vintners focuses exclusively on handcrafted Napa Valley wines. Blending wines is a key to great winemaking, as demonstrated by this deft convergence of powerful Cabernet and exotic Syrah.
