Q: How can I make a change to my current club membership?
A: Please call 866-339-3234 to speak with a membership specialist.
We would be happy to help you.
Q: Does Williams-Sonoma sell wine and ship my order?
A: Wine purchased through Williams-Sonoma Wine Club is not sold by Williams-Sonoma. Williams-Sonoma has carefully selected a wine partner, the Global Wine Company, to operate the Williams-Sonoma Wine Club. Global Wine Company ensures that all wine sales and order fulfillments are completed by a licensed retailer in compliance with state laws. Williams-Sonoma does not stock any wine at any of our retail stores and does not hold any wine inventory. Williams-Sonoma assists in order processing and customer service but does not sell or ship any wine you purchase on this site.
Q: Where will my order ship from?
A: All orders are shipped from the licensed retailer’s location in your state. These locations vary depending on the destination state for the order.
Q: Can you ship to my location?
A: Due to various state laws, retailers are restricted from shipping wine directly to consumers in some states. You can determine if wine can be shipped to a particular destination state by looking at the states listed when attempting to purchase a specific wine. Please note that these laws are changing frequently. Orders cannot be shipped outside of the U.S., to U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico, or to military or APO addresses.
Q: Can I return wine to a Williams-Sonoma retail store?
A: No. Wine cannot be returned to a Williams-Sonoma retail store. Also, most states do not permit returns of wine. If there is a problem with your order such as shipping or fulfillment errors, or defective bottles (corked wine) we will work with the licensed retailer in your state to resolve the problem. To the extent permitted by state law, the licensed retailer in your state will replace the item you have purchased with one of comparable price. Note that we offer a complete satisfaction guarantee on all our wines.
Q: Can you ship to a post office box?
A: Wine cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes. An adult 21 years or older must be present to sign for each shipment; UPS and FedEx do require proper identification. To avoid unnecessary delays and complications during transit and delivery, we suggest that you use your business address or make arrangements for a legal adult to be present at the delivery location.
Q: Must I be present to sign for the delivery of my wine?
A: To prevent minors from buying or accepting alcohol purchases, an adult 21 years or older must be present to sign for each shipment; UPS and FedEx do require proper identification. This person may be an adult besides yourself, but the person must be 21 or older with an acceptable form of ID present at time of delivery. UPS and FedEx will not deliver to adults who are visibly intoxicated at the time of delivery in accordance with federal law. To avoid unnecessary delays and complications during transit and delivery, we suggest that you use your business address or make arrangements for a legal adult to be present at the delivery location. If after several delivery attempts the shipper returns the package, you will be responsible for the initial shipping fees. Should this occur, we will contact you and you can either cancel the order and receive a refund for your order less the initial shipping fees, or pay for a second shipment.
